Your goal is to maximize the value of the City’s website. You are responsible for the product vision and management of the product backlog. You ensure that priorities are clearly established and understood by all. Key responsibilities therefore include defining the items in the product backlog, prioritizing tasks based on their value and impact on the product, and verifying that the developed product meets the expectations and needs of end users and optimizes the user experience.
You ensure effective communication with all stakeholders including external partners, regularly sharing updates and news about the site, changes in priorities, and decisions made.
In this capacity, you track the key performance indicators (KPI) and adjust the strategies to continuously improve user experience and outcomes. You plan and organize tasks related to development needs or the product backlog, taking into account user needs, business objectives, and development constraints.
- Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, digital or any other relevant field;
- A minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience including one (1) year of experience as a digital product strategist on complex projects;
- Good knowledge of internet user sociology and the digital landscape (particularly in terms of navigation and user experience);
- Good knowledge of digital accessibility principles and eco-design;
- Experience with digital product analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Experience in managing digital products (websites, mobile applications, e-commerce);
- Knowledge of web marketing techniques (content strategies, search marketing, affiliate marketing, viral marketing, mobile marketing...), traffic acquisition, and audience measurement tools;
- Proficiency in common computer tools (O365 suite...) and statistical tools (web analytics);
- Fluent in French both orally and in writing and functional in English.
